The continued rise in number and popularity of discount chains, such as Lidl, supported PL growth. Q4-15 included the main Christmas and New Year season, usually a time for a few extra treats, although health benefits remained a continuing trend in various eastern European markets. Warm weather helped commercial beverage momentum during the quarter.
