With growing focus on improving adherence to new environmental standards and lower emission norms, organizations and governments are developing strategies to ensure adoption of clean technologies.
Overall, 75% and 56% of respondents from large and small companies, respectively, state cost savings and operational efficiency will be a key growth driver for clean technology over the next five years. Additionally, 75% and 69% of executives from large and medium-sized companies, respectively, highlight compliance with legislation as a major growth booster for clean technology during 2016–2021. Moreover, 58% of survey respondents from large companies communicate managing corporate reputation as a growth influencer for clean technology during the next five years.
