Malaysia's strong economic performance has made commercial baby food accessible to a rising number of parents. The growing number of births has further stimulated sales. The sector is dominated by baby milks, which account for 90.0 percent of retail sales. Cereals represented 6.40 percent, Wet meals accounted for just 1.20 percent of market value. Other baby food, now consisting of rusks and snacks, took 2.60 percent of market value.
