This division carries out the manufacturing and sale of brake systems and components for automobiles. The segment reported revenue of US$4.8bn in 2016 in comparison to US$4.3bn in 2015, an increase of 11.7%. In local currency terms, it recorded a growth rate of 0.4%. The division accounted for 14.5% of the company’s total revenue in 2016.
