Automatic irrigation involves the incorporation of hardware components, like controllers, sensors, sprinklers, valves, and other components, in order to build an automated system for both agricultural and non-agricultural applications. Feb-2019: Rubicon Water signed an agreement with the Karnataka Government for modernizing the Narayanpur Left Bank Canal (NLBC) system in the Indian state of Karnataka. The project automated around 3,000 km of canals and provided 450,000 hectares of farmland with a reliable and efficient irrigation water supply.
