In 2021, Norway imported 1,640,300 kilograms of paint, down 68.6% from 1,550 kilograms in 2020. This marks a 39.7% reduction in Norwegian paint export since 1998. Bosnia and Herzegovina overtook Norway, importing 488.3 kilograms. The Czech Republic, Germany and Indonesia followed in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place respectively. Norwegian paint import is expected to reach 1,649,600 kilograms by 2026, a decline of 0.2% year-on-year on average. This is a decrease of 3.7% since 1998.
