Cypriot demand for paint is set to drastically decline over the next five years. According to forecasts, import levels will drop by 36.8% year on year between 2021 and 2026. This will bring it down to 4,100 kilograms by 2026. Since 2005, demand for paint has decreased by 12.8% annually. Export levels also declined in 2018, dropping 19% from 2017 to 49,750 kilograms. This represented a 12.1% decrease since 2005. Last year, Saudi Arabia was the largest supplier of paint to Cyprus, with 49,750 kilograms. The Czech Republic, Germany and Indonesia followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
