Exports of Dutch orthopedic prostheses are expected to reach €2.1 billion by 2026. This is a growth of 2.5% each year on average, from €1.8 billion in 2021. Since 2000, the Netherlands has seen a 7.1% annual increase in exports. Ireland overtook the Netherlands as the number one exporter of orthopedic prostheses in 2021, with exports totalling €1.8 billion. The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium were the next biggest exporters, taking the second, third and fourth spots, respectively.
