Exports of orthopedic prostheses from Romania are set to hit €5.3 million by 2026. This figure is 3.6% higher than the €4.2 million recorded in 2021. Since 2005, exports of Romanian orthopedic prostheses have seen a 9.7% annual growth. In 2021, Romania was in 19th place, overtaken by Denmark with €4.2 million. The Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium were ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
