This is according to data from 1995, which shows an annual growth rate of 2.9%. In 2021, Mexico ranked fourth in the world, behind France which had imports of $3.0 billion. Germany, France and Mexico respectively ranked second, third and fourth in the ranking. Exports of plastic packaging from Mexico are expected to reach $2.7 billion by 2026, an increase of 2.3% compared to 2021. This is according to data from 1995, which shows an annual growth rate of 3%. In 2021, Mexico ranked fifth in the world, behind France which had exports of $2.3 billion. The United States, Germany and France respectively were numbers two, three and four in the ranking.
