Sales of plastic packaging products in Cyprus are set to reach €67 million by 2026, up from €60.8 million in 2021. This growth of 1.8% year on year is in line with the average growth since 2013, when the market was up 1.7%. Latvia came ahead of Cyprus in 2021 with €60.8 million, while Italy, France and Spain respectively took the second, third and fourth positions. Import of plastic packaging products in Cyprus is expected to reach $32.4 million by 2026, up from $29.9 million in 2021, with an average year on year growth of 1.5%. This is an increase of 4.2% since 1994. Kyrgyzstan was ahead of Cyprus in 2021 with $29.9 million, while Germany, France and Mexico took the second, third and fourth places. Exports of plastic packaging products from Cyprus are set to reach $5.8 million by 2026, up from $4.8 million in 2021, with an average year on year growth of 3.2%. This is an increase of 8.7% since 1994. Pakistan overtook Cyprus in 2021 with $4.8 million, while the United States, Germany and France respectively took the second, third and fourth positions.
