The Netherlands is set to become a major player in the global pump market by 2026. Imports of pumps into the country are expected to reach 137 million kilograms, a 4% increase from 2021. Since 1997, demand has grown at a rate of 13% annually. The United States, Russia and South Africa are the next biggest purchasers of Dutch pumps. Exports of Dutch pumps are also expected to reach 117 million kilograms in 2026, representing a 4.2% year-on-year increase. Since 1997, supply has grown at a rate of 18.3% per year. China is currently the biggest importer of Dutch pumps, followed by the Netherlands, Germany and the United States.
