Nepal's pump imports are expected to skyrocket over the next five years. In 2021, 634,270 kilograms of pumps were brought into the country, and this figure is projected to reach 813,410 kilograms by 2026. This marks a 4.2% year-on-year growth. Since 2014, Nepal has seen a decrease in its demand for pumps, dropping by 0.4% year-on-year. In 2021, Nepal was ranked 85th in pump imports, overtaken by Myanmar. The United States, Russia and South Africa were the top three importers of pumps, respectively.
