Burmese demand for pumps is set to decrease by 20.3% year on year on average up to 2026. In 2021, it was estimated at 191,790 Kilograms, compared to 674,190 Kilograms in 2016. Moldova was the country with the highest demand in 2021 at 674,190 Kilograms, followed by the United States, Russia and South Africa. Burmese export of pumps rose dramatically in 2018, reaching 18,870 Kilograms, compared to a mere 50.57 Kilograms in 2017. This was a 37,220% increase year on year. Bosnia and Herzegovina was the biggest exporter of pumps in 2018, with 18,870 Kilograms, followed by the Netherlands, Germany and the United States.
