Lao Pump Imports are set to fall slightly by the end of 2026. In 2021, the country imported 221,640 Kilograms - 0.3% lower than in 2021. Since 2015, demand has grown by an average of 3.2% each year. Burkina Faso overtook Lao in the rankings in 2021, importing 225,920 Kilograms. The United States, Russia and South Africa rounded out the top four. Lao Pump Exports saw a significant drop between 2014 and 2015, falling from 90 Kilograms to 21 Kilograms.
