Slovak crude oil demand reached 480,000 metric tons in January 2022, a 1.5% increase from the 498,000 metric tons in December 2021. Compared to January 2007, demand had decreased by 1.8%. Slovak crude oil production dropped 25% to 6.19 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent in 2017, from 8.26 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent in 2016. Compared to 1976, supply had dropped by 10.6%. Morocco was the 81st country in the ranking, overtaking Slovak with 6.19 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent. Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq followed in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
