Maltese kitchen furniture imports are predicted to reach €8.3 million by 2026, growing 0.6% annually from 2021's €8.08 million. Since 2008, the country has seen a 0.4% yearly increase. In 2021, Malta was placed 20th in the rankings, with Hungary overtaking it at €8.08 million. The Netherlands, Austria and Belgium respectively occupied the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots. Meanwhile, exports of Maltese kitchen furniture dropped by a significant 86.3% in 2019, from €33.1 million in 2018, to €4.55 million. This marked a 60.2% decrease compared to 2008. Malta was placed 25th in the rankings that year, with Ireland overtaking it at €4.55 million. Italy, Denmark and Spain were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th most successful exporters.
