Brazil's fertilizer imports are on the rise. In 2021, the country imported 1.62 million metric tons, up 4.1% compared to the previous year. This marked a 13.2% increase since 2007. Of the top four countries importing fertilizer, Brazil came in second place, after Ukraine. Brazil's fertilizer exports, on the other hand, are declining. In 2021, the country exported 157,110 metric tons, a 10.6% decline from the previous year. This marked a 13% decrease since 2007. Of the top four countries exporting fertilizer, Brazil came in 19th place, after the United States. Norway, Belgium and Finland were numbers two, three and four respectively.
