The import of fertilizer in Samoa is set to rise significantly over the next five years. In 2021, the country imported 2.87 metric tons of fertilizer, a 19.9% year-on-year increase since 2009. This put Samoa in 154th place, behind Antigua and Barbuda, which imported 2.87 metric tons. Brazil, Spain and Thailand came in second, third and fourth respectively. By 2026, Samoa's fertilizer import is projected to reach 3.54 metric tons, a 3.5% year-on-year growth rate.
