Demand for fertilizer in the UK is set to decrease by 0.9% year-on-year CAGR until 2026, from 424,660 metric tons in 2021. This marks a slight fall from 2007, where demand was 0.2% lower year-on-year. The UK was the tenth largest importer of fertilizer in 2021, with Myanmar ranking first with 424,660 metric tons. Brazil, Spain, and Thailand took the second, third and fourth spots respectively. Meanwhile, British fertilizer exports are predicted to fall by 28.6% year-on-year, from 33,390 metric tons in 2021 to 5,380 metric tons in 2026. This is a 0.3% decrease from 2007. Bulgaria took the top spot in 2021, with the UK at number 39. Norway, Belgium and Finland took the next three spots.
