Estonia's fertilizer exports are forecast to drop by 7.7% year-on-year on average to 17,570 metric tons by 2026. This follows a 14.8% fall since 2007. In 2021, Estonia was ranked 41st in the world, with Japan ahead in first place at 28,430 metric tons. Norway, Belgium, and Finland followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively. Estonia's fertilizer imports, meanwhile, are forecast to grow at a 2% year-on-year compound annual rate to reach 235,700 metric tons by 2026. This follows a 5.5% increase since 2007. In 2021, the country was ranked 28th, with Mexico in first place at 207,680 metric tons. Brazil, Spain, and Thailand came in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
