Azerbaijan is set to climb up the fertilizer import rankings, reaching around 70,000 metric tons by 2026. This growth comes from an average 4.5% yearly increase since 2007, bringing the total up to 17%. In 2021, Azerbaijan placed 54th in the rankings, just behind Bosnia and Herzegovina, which imported 53,290 metric tons. Brazil, Spain, and Thailand took the next three spots.
