Demand for Nicaraguan Milk Powder is set to increase 2.5% year-on-year, from 1.42 million kilograms in 2021 to 1.64 million kilograms in 2026. Since 1998, demand has grown 36% annually. In 2021, Nicaragua ranked 87th in the world for Milk Powder imports. Suriname was ahead with 1.42 million kilograms, followed by the Philippines, Indonesia and Algeria. Exports of Milk Powder from Nicaragua were close to 128 kilograms in 2018, down 28.3% from 2017’s 178 kilograms. In 2018, Nicaragua ranked 108th in the world for Milk Powder exports. Brunei was ahead with 128 kilograms, followed by Germany, New Zealand and France.
