Guatemala is set to become the 39th largest exporter of antibiotics by 2026, according to a new report. The country's exports are projected to reach $2.38 million by the end of the period, increasing 1.1% annually on average since 2021. This is an increase of 2.9% per year since 1998. Russia was the leading exporter of antibiotics in 2021, with exports valued at $2.26 million. Switzerland, Italy and India ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. Guatemala is also set to become the 39th largest importer of antibiotics by 2026. Imports are projected to reach $11.55 million by the end of the period, growing at a CAGR of 0.9% year-on-year since 2021. This is an increase of 1.1% per year since 1998.
