Belarusian cheese production is set to increase to around 258,000 metric tons by 2026. It was 227,000 metric tons in 2021. This represents an average growth of 2.2% year on year since 1997. In 2021, Belarus was the 18th biggest cheese producer, with Austria overtaking them to take the lead. Germany, France, and Italy ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
