Sales of antihypertensive medications in Hungary are predicted to reach $41 million by 2026. This is an increase of 0.9% every year from 2021's figure of $39.4 million. Since 2008, the annual demand for these medicines has grown 3.5%. Hungary came in eighth in the 2021 rankings, with Belgium overtaking it at $39.4 million. Italy, Spain and Australia ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
