Meanwhile, Dutch passenger transport expenditure is forecast to reach €4.8 billion by 2026, up 3.7% each year on average from €3.8 billion in 2021. Demand in the Netherlands has risen 7.6% annually since 2013. At €3.8 billion, Russia overtook the Netherlands to rank 11th in 2021. The United Kingdom, France and Canada were second, third and fourth in the rankings respectively.
