However, since 2001, the demand for bread in Ukraine has decreased by 1% each year. Conversely, Ukrainian bread exports are expected to decline to about $131 million by 2028, from nearly $139 million in 2023. This represents an annual compound rate of decrease of 0.9%. Over the same period since 2001, the supply of bread from Ukraine has seen a larger yearly drop of 1.9%.
