The UAE is set to experience significant growth in bread imports and exports over the next few years. Imports are projected to reach $528 million by 2026, a 1.5% year-on-year increase from the 2021 figure of $482.4 million, which made the UAE the 17th biggest importer in the world. The Czech Republic topped the list, followed by the UK, Germany and France. Meanwhile, exports are set to reach $302 million by 2026, a 2.9% year-on-year increase from the 2021 figure of $254.8 million, making the UAE the 28th largest exporter globally. South Korea topped the list, followed by Canada, Italy and Belgium.
