Irish jewelry exports are projected to soar to approximately €2.07 billion by 2028, up from nearly €1.2 billion in 2023, marking an average annual growth rate of 8.5%. This robust growth trajectory reflects a significant increase of 96% year on year since 2009. In the 2023 rankings, Ireland secured the sixth position, with Germany leading at around €1.2 billion. Italy, the United Kingdom, and France followed in second, third, and fourth places, respectively. On the import front, Irish jewelry imports are expected to dip slightly to roughly €612 million by 2028 from about €620 million in 2023, showing a modest annual decline of 0.2%. Despite this slight downturn, Irish demand for jewelry has surged by 53.9% annually since 2009. Ireland ranked seventh in 2023, with the Netherlands just ahead at €620 million. The United Kingdom, France, and Italy held the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively, in the import rankings.
