Ugandan cattle production is set to reach nearly 10 million heads by 2026. This is an increase of 1.9% year-on-year, according to a compound annual growth rate. Since 1966, Ugandan supply has risen by an average of 3.1% each year. In 2021, the country was the 28th largest producer, with 8.6 million heads of cattle. South Africa came in first, followed by India, the United States and China.
