Cattle production in Antigua is set to decrease by 13.7% over the next five years. Last year, the country had 1,980 heads of cattle, but this is expected to drop to 864 by 2026. This drop is consistent with the decrease in production seen since 1966, when the average yearly drop in numbers stood at around 7.9%. In 2021, Antigua was ranked 180th in terms of cattle production, overtaken by Equatorial Guinea with 1,980 heads. India, the United States and China made up the top three spots in the rankings.
