Gabon’s cattle production is set to increase by just 0.3% each year, reaching 19,780 heads by 2026. This figure, however, is still lower than the 1966 levels, when cattle production increased by 0.5% year on year. In 2021, Gabon ranked 163rd in the world in terms of cattle production, with 19,400 heads. This is lower than Trinidad and Tobago, which produced 19,400 heads and took the 162nd spot. India, the United States and China took the top three spots, respectively.
