Maltese cattle production is set to drop by 1.3% year on year to around 7,500 heads by 2026. This follows a 1.2% decrease since 1966. The country was ranked 168 in 2021, with Dominica coming in ahead at 8,120 heads. India, the US and China were second, third and fourth respectively in the rankings.
