Bosnian cattle production is set to drop slightly over the next five years. In 2021, the country was ranked 123rd in the world, with 256,880 heads of cattle. This is lower than Slovenia, which overtook Bosnia in 2021 with the same number of heads. India, the US and China were the top three countries, respectively. Since 1997, Bosnian cattle production has decreased by an average of 1.2% each year. By 2026, it is projected to drop to 250,660 heads.
