Cattle production in the Solomon Islands is projected to reach nearly 10,000 heads by 2026. This represents an increase of 0.4 percent each year since 2021, when the country was ranked 166th with 9,460 heads. This growth rate of 0.4 percent per year is slightly higher than the 0.6 percent rate seen since 1966. In 2021, the Federated States of Micronesia led the way with 9,460 heads, followed by India, the United States and China in second, third and fourth place respectively.
