Germany is also the third-largest butter producer, with output expected to reach 434,660 metric tons by 2026, a 0.2% decrease from 2021. Since 1966, German production has decreased by 0.8% year on year. New Zealand leads in production, with output at 438,730 metric tons, followed by Germany and France.
