Germany, France, and Russia followed close behind in the ranking at 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Meanwhile, production of butter in Hungary is forecast to reach 4,070 metric tons by 2026, down 3% year-on-year from 4,850 metric tons in 2021. Since 1966, supply has decreased by 2.9% annually. Hungary came in at 60th in the 2021 ranking, with Iraq overtaking it at 4,850 metric tons. New Zealand, Germany, and France were the top three countries in the ranking.
