Czech butter consumption is expected to reach 42,000 metric tons by 2026, growing at a rate of 0.5% a year. In 2021, the Czech Republic ranked 27th in terms of consumption, with 41,000 metric tons, just behind Tanzania. Germany, France, and Russia were the next three largest consumers respectively. In terms of production, the Czech Republic is expected to produce 3,640 metric tons of butter by 2026, a decrease of 20.9% year-on-year on average since 1998. It was the 44th highest producer in 2021, just behind South Sudan. New Zealand, Germany, and France were among the top three producers respectively.
