Butter consumption in Finland is forecast to drop slightly, from 28,000 metric tons to 27,000 metric tons by 2026. The country saw a 1.1% decrease in demand since 2017. In 2021, Finland ranked 35th in the world, with Bangladesh ahead at 29,000 metric tons. Germany, France and Russia came in at 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, butter production in Finland is expected to increase slightly, from 64,570 metric tons to 67,040 metric tons by 2026. Supply has been climbing at a rate of 0.1% year-on-year since 1966. Finland came in at 19th place in 2021, behind South Korea at 64,570 metric tons. New Zealand, Germany and France rounded out the top four.
