Indonesia's butter consumption is on the rise. In 2021, it reached 20 thousand metric tons and is expected to hit 21.5 thousand metric tons by 2026. This is a growth rate of 1.3% year-on-year on average. Since 2017, Indonesian demand has increased by 10%. It is currently the 43rd biggest consumer in the world, just behind Nigeria at 20 thousand metric tons. Germany, France and Russia follow in second, third and fourth place.
