Since 2006, the market has grown at an average rate of 4.3% year-on-year. In 2021, Bahrain placed 68th globally in terms of sales, with Slovakia overtaking with $799 million. Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
