Since the turn of the millennium, Spanish demand for medical products has surged by an average of 2.8% each year. In the 2023 rankings, Spain held the sixth position globally. Italy led the way with an expenditure also near €14.7 billion, while France, the United Kingdom, and Poland occupied the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
