Dutch expenditure on medical products is projected to hit approximately €5.4 billion by 2028, climbing from nearly €4.3 billion recorded this year. This marks an average annual growth rate of 3.5%. Since the turn of the millennium, the Netherlands has seen its demand for medical products increase at an average yearly rate of 5.7%. In the 2023 rankings, the Netherlands stood at ninth place. Belgium surpassed the Netherlands, also reporting expenditures of around €4.3 billion. Topping the list were France, the United Kingdom, and Poland, securing the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
