Latvian rapeseed production is expected to reach almost 470,000 metric tons by 2026, according to the latest figures. This is an increase of 2.9% each year since 2021, when the country produced 396,010 metric tons. Since 1997, the supply of Latvian rapeseed has grown by 7% year on year. In 2021, the country ranked 20th in production, with Slovakia overtaking it at 396,010 metric tons. China, India and France came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively in this ranking.
