Uzbekistan is set to become one of the largest consumers of cottonseed oil in the world by 2026, with consumption expected to reach around 209 thousand metric tons annually. Since 2017, Uzbek demand for cottonseed oil has increased by an average of 0.5% year-on-year, and is set to reach 206 thousand metric tons in 2021. The country currently ranks fourth in the world for consumption, behind Brazil, who consumed 206 thousand metric tons in 2021. China and Brazil are the top two consumers globally, with Uzbekistan ranked in third place.
