The country's demand for the product dropped 4.4% between 2017 and 2021, when it came in 24th place. During that same time, Malawi overtook Zimbabwe, consuming 7 thousand metric tons. China, Brazil and Uzbekistan held the second, third and fourth spots in the ranking, respectively.
