By 2026, Ivorian cottonseed oil consumption is expected to reach 20,000 metric tons. According to data from 2021, that's a drop of 1.5% from 22,000 metric tons in the same year. Since 2017, Ivorian demand for the oil has been declining at a rate of 1.5% year on year. This puts the country in 13th place in the ranking for 2021, just behind Cameroon which consumed 22,000 metric tons. China, Brazil, and Uzbekistan make up the top three, in that order.
