Mozambique's palm oil consumption is expected to reach more than 230,000 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country consumed 187,000 metric tons, representing a 3.6% increase on average each year since 2017. Mozambique ranked 21st in palm oil consumption in 2021, behind South Korea which consumed the most, at 187,000 metric tons. India, Indonesia and Nigeria followed as the next biggest consumers, in that order.
