Korean palm oil consumption is projected to hit 194 thousand metric tons by 2026. This is a 0.5% increase from the 187 thousand metric tons consumed in 2021. Since 2017, demand for palm oil in Korea has remained steady. In 2021, the country ranked 21st in global consumption, just below Yemen at 187 thousand metric tons. Meanwhile, India, Indonesia and Nigeria ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
